The Caribbean region is facing unprecedented challenges with regard to the availability, use, and management of water. The impacts of climate change continue to cause significant disruptions to the water supply; negatively affecting the way of life and existence of the Caribbean people.
In response to this situation, the United States Government, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in partnership with the Government of Barbados organized the Caribbean Water Conference 2023. The Conference, launched under the theme “Water is Life,” was held in Barbados at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre from June 7-8, 2023.
